Each local ABC board is responsible for enforcing ABC laws within its jurisdiction. This may be accomplished by employing an officer or contracting with another law enforcement agency.
The Rowan/Kannapolis ABC System has a contracted agreement with the
North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division.

Training Classes
ABC Law Enforcement offers the following classes at the Rowan/Kannapolis ABC Board Administrative Office:

There is no charge to attend, and no RSVP is required. Classes last approximately one hour. Please call ahead to confirm that the scheduled date or time has not changed.
Be A Responsible Seller/Server (B.A.R.S.)
Training is available to retail permit holders and their employees. This class helps owners and employees better understand the laws and regulations governing the responsible service and sale of alcoholic beverages.

Drinking Underage Class (Last Chance)
This class addresses the consequences of underage drinking. It is commonly court-ordered for first-time offenders; however, the class is also open to members of the public.
