Special Order Items
Requests for special orders can be made at any store location or by contacting the main office and speaking to the warehouse manager.
Specialty and Limited Release Products
It is the policy of the Rowan/Kannapolis ABC Board to provide transparency and fairness to all customers within our service area. The following procedures are established to ensure those goals are met and are in the best interest of our customers. All Rowan/Kannapolis ABC employees are responsible for upholding these standards and following the procedures as provided.
Allocated and Limited Release Products
The Rowan/Kannapolis ABC Board will offer allocated products once per month, on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
- All allocated products received will be placed on retail shelves at store opening.
- Products will not be held, reserved, or presold for any customer.
- Quantities and selections vary based on availability from suppliers.
- Unless otherwise stated, allocated products are limited to one bottle per customer per day.
- Proper signage must be displayed in all stores to notify customers of this policy.
Limited-Release Lotteries
The Rowan/Kannapolis ABC Board receives limited-release products periodically throughout the year. Because quantities are often insufficient to distribute evenly to all stores, the Board will use a lottery process to ensure fairness and equal opportunity.
Eligibility
Participants must meet ALL of these requirements to enter and purchase lottery products.
- Age Requirement:
- Entrants must be 21 years of age or older.
- Residency Requirements:
- Participants must reside in Rowan County/Kannapolis or an adjoining community.
- Eligible counties included: Cabarrus, Davidson, Davie, Iredell, Rowan, and Stanly.
- Proof of Eligibility
- Accepted forms of identification for lotteries include:
- Valid NC-issued Driver’s License, or
- Valid NC Issued Identification Card.

Procedures
- Customers will receive an email notification announcing lottery products.
- The email will include available products, pricing, the number of bottles, and entry instructions.
- A link to an online submission form will be provided.
- Customers will select the products they wish to enter for and submit their name and contact information for notification purposes.
Policy
- Customers must submit entries within the time window provided (typically 5–7 days).
- Customers are responsible for submitting their own entries.
- Customers may enter for multiple products, but are only eligible to purchase one winning product.
- Multiple entries from the same customer (e.g., duplicate emails or identical information) will be deleted before selection.
- Lottery winners have ten (10) business days (Mon–Sat) after notification to make their purchase.
- Winners must make the purchase in person; no one may purchase on their behalf.
Our Holiday Lottery is now live and will close at midnight on Sunday, December 7th. Winners will be selected and notified by 5 pm on Monday, December 8th.
